Sometimes there’s a dino in the logs

So, about me???

Hey, I’m Victor — a cybersecurity professional these days, no longer just a trainee. I’m into video games (especially retro, even if I missed the golden age) and anime (no shit, Sherlock!).

In my free time, I play with SDR, going from NFC tags to RFID exploring, and sometimes, even scraping the radio side of things (shortwave etc.).

I am far from a developer (quite far, actually), but I do use Python and Bash to solve problems with my home server and do some daily automations (actually... not going to lie to you, most of the time I am fixing something). In contrast, I have been daily-driving Linux since 2018, and I am not looking back.

English is not my first language either, but be not afraid! Our merciful god, Holy Grammarly, is here to save you all from the massacre that I commit every time I finish any text. Also not a blogger, but I do write things down when I find them useful/broken/interesting.

Right now, I’m focused on:

If you like radio, cyber, Linux, logs, DIY, or just thinking out loud, you’ll probably feel at home here.
